Photoshoots are one of the most fun parts of working for an apparel company. I was involved in all aspects of the Skirt Sports shoots - from steaming and planning outfits to coordinating models, photographers and location ideas. In the beginning, I was given an excel spreadsheet to plan photoshoots. I'm a visual thinker so I replaced it with a storyboard system to outline outfits, models and locations, so we never missed a shot! This attention to planning helped bring the Skirt Sports brand to life on the website and across all marketing platforms without the standard hands-on-the-hips or serious running shots used by most in the industry.
